Paul Manley is known for leading with his heart. As the president and CEO of MGS Manufacturing Group, his team said is committed to enhancing the lives of the clients served and the employees who are at the core of the business. “Paul’s titan strengths of leadership, vision and passion are reflected throughout the organization as witnessed by our teamwork, community and customer satisfaction,” said his staff.

MGS Manufacturing Group is a designer and manufacturer of custom drug delivery and MedTech devices. Under Manley’s guidance, the company has 100 percent pivoted to healthcare manufacturing in an effort to transform customer challenges into innovations that improve lives. To achieve those goals, MGS has expanded global capabilities to align with customer needs in specific regions and has added capabilities such as new product development and design within the healthcare space.

Since Manley was named a Titan 100, his greatest accomplishments in the past year have been accelerating the expansion of the business to include product design and development capabilities, large scale facility expansions and greenfielding a new manufacturing plant in Central America.

This was only possible by entrusting and empowering his team. “To meet the challenges of the most demanding healthcare innovators, MGS has continued to invest within to train and promote internal talent while working with higher education institutions to recruit and integrate outside minds of the future,” said Manley. “In addition, the greatest leadership lesson learned over the past year has been entrusting and empowering leadership team members to make key decisions that I previously controlled.”

MGS’ executive leadership team adheres to the policies of approachability and accessibility to all employees in an effort to always have their finger on the pulse of the organization, said Manley. “These policies allow for the transfer of enthusiasm throughout the organization,” he said.

This act of empowerment included building and coaching the senior leadership team to provide a succession plan for the next generation of executive leadership in the organization. “My best gauge of impact is the extremely low turnover within our senior leadership team,” said Manley.

Manley said he has also been empowered by being a part of the Titan 100 community. “To be honored and recognized with the other impressive 99 members has been touching,” he said. “This platform has provided a great networking opportunity throughout the year.”

For his continued strength as a leader and motivator in the manufacturing industry, Manley has been named a Titan 100 for the second time.
