Eric Sanders considers himself a “cloud evangelist.” And in his role as managing partner at eCloud Managed Solutions, a company he helped co-found in 2016, Sanders gets to help clients take full advantage of the cloud’s transformative potential.
Sanders launched eCloud with a few specific goals in mind — plus a desire to fill a void in IT services that were then available on the market.
“There was a gap in the market for a truly vendor-agnostic cloud consulting partner that could offer proactive managed services with the necessary auxiliary supports to ensure a client’s success,” Sanders explained.
Today, eCloud helps clients migrate legacy systems to the cloud or build entirely new, cloud-based infrastructures, depending on their needs. eCloud specialists help clients lower IT costs, improve their operational efficiencies, expand online security and differentiate their business services — all through cloud adoption and integration.
Under Sanders’ leadership, eCloud is on track to triple its revenue numbers from 2021, while only increasing its team by 40%. The company is currently developing several new packaged IT offerings and services, to be launched in early 2023.
Sanders’ team at eCloud strives to deliver industry-leading engineering and customer service support to their clients. In the coming year, Sanders plans to focus on doubling the company’s revenue growth, increasing its engineering talent pool and developing disaster recovery services as a new product offering, among other top-line goals.
“We have worked hard to build a great reputation, and we owe our success to our team members as well as our clients and partners who trust us every day with their businesses,” Sanders said. “These relationships will continue to drive our success moving into the next year and years to come.”
Sanders believes leadership depends on taking a servant leadership approach, along with maintaining integrity, a strong vision, open-mindedness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Prior to founding eCloud Managed Solutions, Sanders was vice president of managed services, cloud and telecom solutions at Presidio, an IT services and consulting company.
Sanders willingly shares his industry knowledge and expertise with others, serving as an advisory board member for CloudAdvisors, M3 Life Sciences and RiverMeadow. He is also a member of the board of directors for Four Seeds International, a nonprofit that works to extend access to education, economic development, healthcare and clean water in impoverished rural communities around the world.
