Christy Brown

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Noze Best

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Founded: 2016

Industry: BabyTech/FamTech/Healthcare/Medical

Christy Brown joined Dr. Noze Best as CEO in 2022 after a pitch she had seen from the company during a venture forum. The company has grown sales by more than 50% in her first quarter, attributed to a great team, product and mission.

Dr. Noze Best provides tech products and education for families to help their infants and toddlers breathe better and give parents peace of mind. “We exist to advance the tools available for parents who are seeking solutions to daily challenges, particularly in managing the health and wellness of their infants and toddlers,” the company said.

Brown quickly prioritized channel marketing and growth combined with performance to ensure the brand is supportive to parents. Brown also worked to connect the consumer with the product through multiple public relations strategies. In 2023, the company plans to expand into multiple countries and launch three new products.

“Transparency, communication, succession, delegation, agility and growth mindsets are all attributes that I believe modern leaders must possess,” Brown said. “Modern leaders face new challenges with rapidly evolving environments, political struggles, globalization and remaining relevant in our first-ever multigenerational workforce.”

Brown has 20 years of experience focusing on professional services, digital commerce and technology. She has led as a senior executive in multiple public companies, but steered her interest back to early-stage capital in 2010, focusing on female founders. In mid-2020, Brown took on the role of president and CEO of Launchpad2X, a nonprofit accelerator focused on scaling female founders via education and community.

In 2021, Brown was recognized both internationally and nationally for her work in venture capital. She was a Siggie Award winner, which recognizes key players in venture capital serving “founder first” mentalities. Brown also received the Conscious Capitalist Award, which builds trust and endurance for underserved founders. The Dutch Antilles Islands presented her with the Investor of the Year Award for her work to bring venture capital to the islands during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

In 2021, Brown was also named an Entrepreneur in Residence at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where she also leads the Startup Accelerator for early-stage founders, scaling companies to their next stage.

Brown served on the boards of directors for Unbanked, Startup Atlanta, Healthy Hip-Hop and TiE Atlanta and has led multiple variations of support for women in the Southeast. She continues the focus on stewardship for female founders and growth in venture capital aimed at breaking barriers for underserved founders, and she coaches, mentors and provides support internationally and domestically to help founders scale.
