Angela Fusaro

Chief Executive Officer

Physician 360

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Founded: 2018

Industry: Digital Health

Angela Fusaro left her job in clinical medicine as an emergency room doctor in pursuit of making a broader impact with her own company, Physician 360.

“I felt that I had to be all-in on my company’s vision of building the largest network of affordable and convenient healthcare clinics in the country, for it to have the level of impact I knew it could,” she said.

Founded in 2018, Physician 360 is a digital health platform that transforms neighborhood pharmacies into care centers by providing access to rapid tests and telemedicine platforms for minor illnesses.

“Now a patient can walk into a neighborhood pharmacy, perform a rapid test, interact with a doctor, and receive a treatment prescription in less than 30 minutes, for less than $50,” the company said. “Our vision is to create the largest network of affordable healthcare clinics in the country, especially in care deserts (regions like rural America, where populations have inadequate access to healthcare) where the pharmacy is the only accessible point of care.”

In January 2022, Fusaro oversaw the launch of a new product for the company’s pharmacy partners, allowing pharmacists to communicate recommendations and medical notes to medical providers in real time. In September, Fusaro was one of 10 women featured in Times Square in New York City, and Physician 360 was selected for an exclusive incubator program by Morgan Stanley, the Multicultural Innovation Lab.

“While being on Times Square is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I’m most grateful that this program has provided Physician 360 with incredible support, resources and validation on a national scale,” Fusaro said. “I’m incredibly proud that Physician 360 was able to launch a new product and receive such a high recognition for it all within one calendar year.”

Fusaro recently completed a five-year term on the board of directors of a national nonprofit called Girls on the Run.

Girls on the Run designs programming that strengthens third- to eighth-grade girls’ social, emotional, physical and behavioral skills. The curriculum teaches girls to be confident and joyful through social emotional learning while creatively interweaving running. The program culminates with a 5K race, which is the most significant physical feat accomplished to date for most of the girls. In addition to the direct impact this program has on each girl, there is a secondary impact on their community. It is common to see girls ask an adult family member to run in the 5K with her, leading to a ripple effect.
