Chief Product Officer

SiteZeus

Location: Tampa Bay

Founded: 2014

Industry: Commercial Real Estate

The most valuable space at SiteZeus is not a corner office. It is the crowded whiteboard where questions become models and models become launches. Jorge Hermez, chief product officer of SiteZeus, owns that translation layer, turning messy real-world problems into tools brands trust when picking their next move.
Hermez’s path runs through design, code and business. Raised in San Francisco, he started as a graphic designer, then founded Go2 Creative at 25 years old and learned how brand systems, timelines and budgets actually behave. He joined SiteZeus as the first designer, got close to customers and the stack and built credibility.
Hermez rebuilt product delivery around clarity and pace. Releases that once arrived every month or two moved to a steady two-week cadence. Roadmap voting gave users a voice. Team agreements and simple rituals aligned engineering, data science and design without slowing decisions. A thoughtful rebrand pulled four offerings into one narrative so clients experience a single platform instead of separate parts stitched together.
Then came the new brain. Hermez led development of a core model that improves forecast accuracy and explainability so operators can see not just what to do but why. On top of that sits Zeus.ai, a natural-language layer that answers plain questions like where to open, how to optimize and what drives performance at a proposed site. Responses can include text, charts, aerial maps and tables tied to choices leaders make every day. Olympus Data Exchange feeds this intelligence by uniting third-party, first-party and proprietary sources in a scalable pipeline. Market gives brands a way to discover, compare and validate locations across the United States and Canada so development and remodel timelines move with confidence.
Hermez is building a place where leaders can find new trade areas, manage remodels and ground-ups, coordinate opening campaigns, then track results against the assumptions that justified each decision. Restaurants, general retail, specialty retail, service brands, convenience stores and health care will find models tuned to how they operate. Transparency is built in so teams trust the output as much as the interface.
A Titan 100 Honoree, Hermez treats product as a promise to customers and to colleagues. He is proudest of earning the chief product seat by uniting engineering, data science and design around a single story for where the platform is going and why the bet matters. Recognition from Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 40 under 40 mirrors what teams see internally—discipline, speed and care.
Results tell the arc: demos and sales decks reflect one platform, shipping is predictable and customers get clearer answers faster. The work at SiteZeus stays grounded in a simple standard that guides every sprint—deliver tools that make expansion smarter today and make the next decision stronger than the last.
