When sharing advice to the next generation of titans, Dr. Will Moreland said it’s important to know that your people are your most valuable asset. “Invest in building a positive company culture that values diversity, inclusion and employee well-being,” said Moreland. “Empower your team members, foster open communication, and create opportunities for growth and development.”
This advice is embedded in the corporate values for excellence and innovation that the Titan 100 Hall of Fame nominee utilizes in his role as the founder and chief executive officer of Moreland Training and Associates.
Moreland Training and Associates consists of workplace culture experts who take the complexity out of diversity by creating cultures of civility. The firm supports clients in developing environments for employees to thrive.
“We believe in a people-first concept,” said Moreland. “Whether we are talking about our team members or our clients, people come first, and we believe in conducting our business with honesty, transparency and ethical principles at all times.”
His five-year vision for the company includes becoming one of the leading leadership development companies in Arizona, aiming to play a pivotal role in helping Arizona become one of the best workplace culture states by providing top-notch training programs and solutions that empower leaders and teams to excel. The company will continue to collaborate with industry experts, organizations, and institutions to expand its reach, access new markets and stay ahead of industry developments.
“My legacy is rooted in inspiring and empowering the next generation to do more, serve more and care more for each other,” said Moreland. “I want to inspire individuals to be driven by a sense of purpose, compassion, and commitment to making a positive impact in their communities and beyond. I recognize the importance of building on the wisdom and achievements of those who came before me, honoring their contributions while striving to innovate and lead in my own endeavors.”
Since he was first named a Titan 100, Moreland has joined the board of a nonprofit to help underserved youth and young adults. He has been instrumental in helping the nonprofit raise an additional $2 million to expand services to the community, and Moreland reached out to his network to share the vision of the organization and champion the work they were doing.
“One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that great work needs to be broadcasted and championed,” said Moreland. “Teamwork really makes the dream work.”
