Christopher Souza grew up in a real estate development family where he was exposed to the dynamic world of building, managing and selling properties at an early age. This developed into a passion for real estate. His hands-on experience, combined with his educational foundation, provided him with the foundation, analytical tools, and strategic insights necessary to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the real estate markets.
From the age of 22, Souza was engaging in negotiations with esteemed executives such as Steve Wynn, Richard LeFrak, Jeffrey Sofer and Joe Lewis, among others. He has also worked with other top developers to incorporate technology into their projects. Souza began his professional career with Crystal Lagoons, climbing the ranks to run the U.S. east division. He ultimately joined Tavistock Development Company and now serves as the president and chief executive officer of Oasis Amenities.
Oasis Amenities is a design-build firm that creates, designs and builds world-class amenities. Its fully integrated design-build process focuses on functionality, ease of operation, and exceptional returns on investment for developers.
Since joining the firm in late 2022, Souza has quadrupled the revenue and has continued to successfully grow the business. With the substantial increase in the sales volume, he found it necessary to hire eight new individuals within the span of a year to keep up with the increased demand.
Christopher was brought to Oasis Amenities to turn the company from an innovative idea into a successful business, said his staff. He has successfully taken what was once a vision and turned it into a successful company that can compete in the market with industry giants.
According to Souza, he relies on his ability to connect deeply with people. Empathy is key to understanding their needs and fostering genuine relationships that extend beyond work, he said. To me, there is no greater superpower in this world than creating incredible bonds with incredible people.
