Bradley Swineheart

Chief Growth Officer

Oxford Advisory Group

Location: Tampa, Florida

Founded: 2017

Industry: Financial Advisory Firm

Brad Swineheart describes himself as a student of the industry, always attempting to learn, grow, and better himself and those around him. “In a field that can be very cut-throat, I strive to work and live with an abundance mentality,” said Swineheart. “I have surrounded myself with those who are experts in their respective fields and worked with the attitude of giving in order to provide any value I can, even to those much higher in station than myself.”

This commitment to learning and a passion for the finance industry led Swineheart to join Oxford Advisory Group as the chief marketing officer in 2023. Within eight months, he rose to the ranks of chief growth officer, entrusted with expanding the company’s presence throughout Florida with new offices, advisors and services.

Oxford Advisory Group is a tax-focused advisory that aims to help retirees prepare for and enjoy retirement. By focusing on taxation, estate planning and income planning the firm hopes to educate their local communities on these potentially important topics to better prepare for retirement.

“When working in the financial space, often there is a scarcity mindset, an attitude of keeping tactics and connections hidden from others. I embrace the opposite,” said Swineheart. “Providing value to those around you, those you can help lift up, those you can learn from, these are the true mentalities of a titan, and I embrace these daily with all that I can.”

Under Swineheart’s leadership, Oxford Advisory Group has grown tremendously over the last year while maintaining its positive work culture. The firm was awarded Inc’s best places to work, Orlando’s best in financial services, and Silicon Review’s top tech to watch in 2024, and has been published in NASDAQ, Benzinga, MSN, and Newsbreak. The firm also launched a new division of services of estate planning and opened in new markets, including Tampa.

In Swineheart’s first year onboard, the company had its highest-growth RIA in the history of the firm and educated more than 2,000 families. Oxford Advisory Group also launched online education courses.

“To lead means that others must follow,” said Swineheart. “That seems like a no-brainer, but what it really means is that your dedication cannot waiver, you must be committed to results, and open to change based on data and feedback. Some will blindly follow the appearance of success, but a true leader inspires those around them by showing consistency and a drive for advancement.”

What is your secret superpower?

I’d like to think I am particularly gifted at being able to see how the pieces fit together in correlation to the overarching goals. This has allowed me to see solutions and opportunities where others don’t. I have been called the “Chief Dot Connector” at many of my past roles, and it is something I pride myself in being able to do.
