As a top marketing executive with nearly 30 years of corporate and agency B2B services experience, Jill Kouri joined HCLTech as their chief global marketing officer in 2021. In her role, Kouri is responsible for nurturing the brand as well as supporting business teams to drive growth across the company’s broadening suite of technology services.
HCLTech is a global technology company, home to 223,000+ people across 60 countries, delivering industry-leading capabilities centered around digital, engineering, cloud and AI, powered by a broad portfolio of technology services and products. The firm works with clients across all major verticals, providing industry solutions for financial services, manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare, technology and services, telecom and media, retail and CPG and public services.
“Jill leads over 400 passionate marketers across the global business, including corporate marketing, vertical and horizontal marketing, recruitment marketing, corporate communications and digital marketing,” said her colleagues. “Jill has been a part of vigorous leadership initiatives to promote inclusivity, guide and support employees and promote team wins.”
Within the first year of joining HCLTech, Kouri relaunched a new brand narrative and EVP, modernizing the go-to market strategy and bringing HCLTech into the next phase of its evolution. She also secured HCLTech the official Cornerstone Partnership with MetLife Stadium and the official digital transformation partnership with the New York Giants, New York Jets and MetLife Stadium. This partnership supports HCLTech’s vision to enhance the digital experience of communities.
Under her leadership, HCLTech scaled up volunteerism and corporate partnerships in education, environment and health. Kouri also led the company’s presence in Davos and its partnership with industry forums like World Economic Forum and UN Girl Up.
In her role, Kouri helped to drive internal change, leading workshops and panels for DE&I programs, making the culture and DE&I agenda core to the company narrative and explicit commitment. “She is an ally and champion for HCLTech’s employee resource groups and can be frequently found participating and sponsoring their meetings, events, awareness campaigns and global activities.”
Personally, Kouri is a firm believer in the advancement of women in the workplace and has long supported Dress for Success, serving on the not-for-profit organization’s advisory council. She was also named a 2016 Woman of Influence by the Chicago Business Journal.
“She is renowned for her ability to cultivate and retain top talent while fostering strong partnerships and alignment with sales organizations,” said her staff. “She is also known for her high emotional intelligence and adaptability and she excels in effectively navigating matrixed and complex organizational structures managing ambiguity with ease.”
For her impact on HCLTech, the industry and its brand, Kouri has been named a titan.
Jill's superpower is her ability to transform culture in the workplace.
