Ron Daugherty’s advisory services and technology consulting business made a key acquisition in the early years of his company that forged a client relationship that still helps drive the business today.

“We made the decision to acquire the software that Anheuser-Busch wholesalers relied on to run their businesses,” Daugherty said. “We were in the early stages of the company and invested millions into the acquisition, expanding our services and standing up a software product company in record time. I was confident the team could do it, but we had to ramp up quickly to support an existing customer base of 170 wholesalers and expand to the entire 700-plus wholesaler market for Anheuser-Busch. The product became a key differentiator to sell more beer. ABI is still a very important client for us today, and we are excited to continue supporting the world’s largest brewer.”
