“My process for solving complex problems is to dissect them to their simplest form and understand the root cause,” Harris said. “Often we start with the most complex outcome versus the true cause. I like to start by looking at the various elements of the problem and why the end user is experiencing the problem. The end user is best equipped to explain what the true desired outcome was versus what has occurred. Doing this analysis allows you to understand the dimensions of the problem and the actual business problem that needs to be solved.”
With more than 2,000 employees across five continents, Ascential Digital Commerce combines local expertise with a global footprint for clients in more than 120 countries. During the next five years, Harris will work to grow Ascential Digital Commerce and its solutions. “Digital Commerce is an industry that grows no moss. Complacency is not an option,” the company said. “By keeping her finger on the pulse of every change ahead, Sharon will help ensure that the company remains futurefacing and adaptable to every new technology or advancement in how consumers engage with brands online and off.”
