Self-awareness is the first step toward effective leadership, said Christian Mezger, the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Anuvu.

Mezger has been Anuvu’s chief financial officer since May 2019. He has negotiated multinational strategic agreements for mergers and acquisitions and divestiture transactions in diverse industries, including IT, high tech and professional services.
“Under his leadership, Anuvu fully remediated 19 material weaknesses, streamlined major business processes and improved not only the efficiency of the various organizations, but also improved the business decision-making,” the company said. “This foundational work enables Anuvu today to grow back our business toward pre-COVID levels.”
Mezger previously served as Ciber Inc.’s president and CEO and as CEO of CMTSU Liquidation Inc. Prior to that, he served as Ciber’s executive vice president and chief financial officer from February 2014 to December 2017 and its senior vice president, corporate finance from August 2011 to February 2014.
Prior to joining Ciber, Mezger served in several leadership roles for Hewlett Packard Company/Compaq Computer Corporation, including vice president of technology services, vice president of worldwide financial planning and analysis, and senior director of corporate planning and global function finance. This journey took his family from Germany to Houston and then to the Bay Area.
Mezger received an MBA-equivalent degree in international business management with a specialization in international finance and international marketing from the University of Vienna. During this time, he also studied in the UK and France.
