Managing Partner
Bennett Thrasher LLP

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Founded: 1980
Industry: Accounting & Financial Services

Jeffrey A. Eischeid grew up in Tennessee where he attended military school and witnessed firsthand the beginnings of racial and gender integration in schools. After obtaining an undergraduate and master’s degree in accountancy and tax, he looked forward to a career that allowed him to have an impact on several industries rather than be pigeonholed into one.

His career began at a Big 4 accounting firm in Atlanta where he rose to Managing Partner in just eight years. By 2004, Eischeid brought his extensive experience as an advisor to Bennett Thrasher LLP where he rose to Managing Partner in 2016.

For four decades, Bennett Thrasher LLP has provided clients with strategic business guidance and solutions. The firm’s unwavering dedication to its core values, client service and collaboration has catapulted the company into the ranks of the largest and fastest growing certified public accounting and consulting firms. With global reach and strong local ties, Bennett Thrasher provides professional tax, audit, advisory and business process outsourcing services to businesses and high net-worth individuals.

Under Eischeid’s leadership, Bennett Thrasher has added new service lines, continued to grow and thrive and ultimately become a modern accounting firm that employs the next generation of accounting partners, said his colleagues. “His servant leadership style and humility make Jeff a professional that partners and clients trust,” they said. “The team has put their faith in him since he joined Bennett Thrasher and throughout every practice group, the employees have confidence in his counsel and leadership choices.”

While serving as managing partner, Eischeid was instrumental in earning the company awards such as the 2021 Top Workplaces Inside Public Accounting and the Best of the Best in Accounting. Eischeid, though, said there is no better acknowledgement than being named a Top Workplace in Atlanta because it underscores Bennet Thrasher’s commitment to supporting its associates and creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.

“Bennett Thrasher has been a champion in the accounting industry for diversity, equity and inclusion, and I plan to continue to push for progress and real change in our profession,” said Eischeid. “Our firm has shown this commitment through tailored, honest programming throughout each year, open dialogue at all levels of the firm and the creation of Business Resource Groups to make sure associates feel welcomed and supported.”

For his commitment to leading with passion and making real change in the industry, Eischeid has been named a Titan.

He rides adventure motorcycles for the thrill and excitement they provide. His 'born to be wild' weekend pastime of taking Sunday rides on his motorcycle is seen by many of his associates as a stark departure from his weekday quiet and humble demeanor.
