Scott Tapp is a born leader and seasoned executive who has a long track of scaling exceptional companies, both organically and through acquisition. He started his career in investment banking and worked in two venture capital firms investing in early-stage technology companies. In 2020, he joined Trella Health as the president and chief operating officer and was recently named the Chief Executive Officer.

Trella Health is a healthcare data analytics firm with the mission to empower meaningful change in healthcare through performance visibility. Through the company’s solutions, it enables healthcare organizations to improve outcomes and reduce the cost of care. Trella Health provides unmatched, actionable market intelligence to DCEs, ACOs, healthcare networks and post-acute care providers of all sizes.

According to the founder, Ian Juliano, Tapp was a perfect fit to lead Trella to the next level. “Scott’s contributions over the last year and a half have been instrumental to our continued success and future growth trajectory,” he said.

Tapp moved into the CEO position at a time of accelerated growth for the business. Since joining Trella, he has implemented an operating foundation and developed a leadership team to significantly scale the business. Under his leadership, the company has launched multiple innovative new offerings, added more than 250 new healthcare customers, doubled its Annual Recurring Revenue, and increased the Trella team aby 40 percent.

“He has been heavily invested in the people operations side of the business as well, ensuring the company is providing top tier culture and benefits to its employees,” said his staff. “Tapp is most proud of the team and culture he is building.”
