Sonsio Vehicle Protection’s values are on the walls at the company: character, organization, respect and excellence, or CORE. CEO David Jones said the same values are top of mind for the company’s employees as well.
“These values are not only found on the walls of Sonsio but in the hearts of all associates as they continue to build value and trust for our partners,” Jones said. “I appreciate the way our associates embrace these values in the work they do every single day.”
Sonsio had ups and downs during 2021, a year that was challenging for nearly every industry, but especially for the automotive field.
“With the supply chain issues that have impacted so many industries and crippled business, Sonsio weathered the shortages in the automotive sector and still came out of 2021 with exceptional results,” Jones said. “We successfully completed a merger with a division of one of our sister companies, fully integrated both organizations, rebranded all our existing programs, launched several new programs in all segments of our business, all while achieving double digit growth.”
Sonsio also was honored as a Top Workplaces USA 2022 and kept most of its staff intact despite the Great Resignation that hurt many businesses. And it maintained double-digit top- and bottom-line growth.
The company’s marketing efforts continue to take shape as it builds on 2021, Sonsio’s first year as an IndyCar Series partner. Sonsio is in its second year with Team Penske and will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 3 Chevrolet, driven by NTT IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year, Scott McLaughlin, for two races per year for the next three years. In addition, the company is the title sponsor of the Sonsio Grand Prix presented by AMR at Road America.
Jones was named a titan for the first time last year. “Being recognized as a member of the Titan 100 Class of 2021 was very humbling as I looked at all those recognized and the different paths we each took to get there,” he said. “It is truly amazing to see the talent, hard work, and dedication it takes to be part of something so truly special.”
