To say that Jennifer Artley has an entrepreneurial spirit is an understatement. Artley has a unique professional background that started with a career in financial consulting to launching an entirely new career in telecommunications in Colorado.

“I first joined Level 3 Communications and held numerous roles in product management, strategic marketing, as well as leading a reorganization and integration of the firm’s acquired assets,” said Artley.

A decade later, Artley joined BT Global as the CEO where she quickly advanced to president of the Americas region. In 2018, she also took on an additional role of managing director of the technology, life sciences and business services vertical at BT.

“I currently lead a $1 billion+ business serving more than 1,000 customers in North America and Latin America while managing a global ecosystem of employees made up of over 1,000 diverse people,” said Artley.

According to her colleagues, Artley drives BT’s critical expansion across emerging markets and her contributions have led to direct growth in a variety of sectors. “She is a highly visible leader both within BT and the external market,” said her staff. “She is a strategic innovator who globally impacts the industry and is a passionate advocate of diversity. She believes that equally important to closing the skills gap in technology is closing the gender gap in technology.”

Part of that innovation involves supporting BT’s Classroom to Boardroom initiative, which supports STEM education programs that focus on teaching female students the skills they need to succeed in the tech-driven jobs of the future. She has also initiated several strategic change initiatives that have been adopted across the broader BT global services organization.

Artley and BT Global have gained recognition as a result of these successful initiatives. Artley was nominated as one of the 50 Women to Watch in 2016 and was selected as one of Capacity Media’s 20 Women to Watch in 2018. Artley penned a byline for RCRWireless describing the future of network convergence and publishes articles on next-generation technology on LinkedIn. In 2020, she attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

“I believe that digital transformation is the critical factor changing today’s business and economic landscape,” said Artley. “I’m inspired to be a leader in driving change for BT and its global customers.”

For her unending dedication to digital transformation and her success as a leader, Artley has earned a spot as a Titan of industry.
