Mike Noble

Mike Noble is the chief of research at Noble Predictive Insights, a nonpartisan public opinion polling, market research and data analytics firm in Phoenix. Founded in 2016, Noble Predictive Insights aims to empower leaders and decision-makers with insights and data that translate into solutions.

Noble has a degree from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University. He started a political and public affairs consulting company at age 25 and noticed discrepancies in public opinion polling results on controversial issues. This sparked his curiosity and prompted him to provide unbiased views to decision-makers, the media and the public. In 2016, he accurately predicted the winner of the presidential election in Arizona, gaining significant attention and press coverage.

Since its inception, OH Predictive Insights has become the No. 1 provider in Arizona and has expanded into Nevada and Utah. The company's accuracy in the 2021–2022 elections earned it the 11th rank overall in the country for accuracy by Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight. The company earned record revenue in 2022 of $1.5 million.

The company aims to become a household name in the public opinion polling and market research space in the next five years. Noble envisions the company competing on a national stage, with plans to grow the team to about 20 full-time staff and add offices in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. The company is also planning a Predictive Insights Trade School, inviting experts to teach classes on best practices in public opinion polling and analytics.

“Part of being a great leader is knowing where your weaknesses lie,” Noble said. “Once understood, hiring around those weaknesses can lead to great organizational growth and development. One of the biggest risks early in my career was hiring some of the key individuals who could perform better than me in areas (where) I was weak. Their ability to fill in my gaps and produce better results than I could opened my eyes to that concept, which has led to our success.

“We emphasize the importance of a quality team, and when a leader can understand how key team members that complement them are better than those that simply say yes, organizations can grow and thrive. Our team today is composed of many individuals who are much better than I am at what they do.”

OH Predictive Insights has received numerous awards and recognitions, including being listed as a 2023 Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company in the Southwest region. It has also been ranked among the top 15 most accurate pollsters and top five for lowest average bias in the 2021–22 election cycle by FiveThirtyEight.
