Colleagues describe Lindsey Miner as a dreamer and a professional who asks employees and clients to dream. As the Executive Vice President of Ski and Sea / Inventory Smart she has a consistent goal to improve the customer experience and expand the businesses offerings.

Miner doesn’t believe in settling. “If the last year has taught us anything, it has taught us that every business faces new challenges every day,” she said. “The way to survive is to adapt and improve. Good enough isn’t good enough.”

She has taken this approach with her career and her approach to leadership. Miner began her career with Ski and Sea, a housewares service in the vacation ownership industry, in 2005 as a sales assistant. Within two years, she was promoted to regional sales manager and brought on and retained Fortune 500 hospitality corporations including Wyndham Destinations, Bluegreen Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton Club.

By 2017, Miner was named Executive Vice President and took charge of heading up operations while leading the sales team for the company. She immediately began focusing on the company systems and designed internal procedures to enable standard packages for customers and an online catalog. One of her most significant contributions to the company was her quest to create Inventory Smart, a web application that helps to manage inventory once it’s delivered to each property, with the potential to expand the technology to numerous industries beyond hospitality, such as aviation, event centers, service trades and healthcare.

According to her colleagues, Miner values maintaining relationships with clients. “She finds the time to prioritize an in-person meeting or phone call, making sure to keep an open line of communication,” they said. “Lindsey also maintains a great relationship with her team ensuring seamless communication and high caliber work from all departments.”

These efforts have resulted in an income growth rate of more than 200% and additional clients in the hospitality industry. Under Miner’s direction, Ski and Sea has evolved its online ordering system, strengthened its web presence and converted to a paperless warehousing system.

“Whether a change stems from something good or bad, I believe it is always an opportunity to grow,” said Miner. “It gives you a chance to reevaluate your current position and the goals you would like to achieve.”

Miner said she believes in empowering her team and leading by example to help motivate others. “I measure success by the people around me,” she said. “When we bring out the best in each other, we’re succeeding.”

For her continued success as a leader and commitment to client and employee satisfaction, Miner has been named a Titan of industry.
