Leo Osma’s pursuit of aviation and aerospace engineering began with a dream of surfing through the clouds as a pilot, an ambition he harbored since immigrating to the United States from Colombia to study aerospace engineering. Due to the complexities of the immigration process, obtaining a private pilot’s license remained elusive for many years.
Nonetheless, he embarked on the journey to fulfill this dream, commencing training for recreational and self-transportation purposes while attaining dual degrees in aerospace and mechanical engineering and then taking on corporate roles at Boeing, Rockwell Automation and eventually co-founding APEXLUXE, where he serves as the COO.

Osma’s role as as chief operating officer has been pivotal in shaping the company’s initial foundation while propelling it into the future. His pioneering spirit was instrumental in introducing the company’s broker software and carefully selecting and customizing the current CRM tool. He orchestrated the company’s inaugural aircraft sale and masterminded its first full PART 91 lease process, charging an innovative course for growth.
