Richard Waryn has a unique perspective on what makes a good company great.

Waryn is CEO of LDK Logistics Inc., a leader in the transportation and logistics industry. He started his career in international private equity where he managed funds worth over $6 billion investing in emerging markets around the world. A Harvard graduate, Waryn lived in London, Moscow and Dubai before he settled in Denver with his family. After acquiring LDK in 2015 with the intention of building it into a platform company that would acquire other strategic companies in the transport and logistics space, Waryn focused on empowering and developing his core management team at the company.

Since acquiring the company in 2015 Waryn has more than doubled both revenues and profitability. He has also created a healthy work culture that attracts employees and retains them exceptionally well. LDK has consistently won awards such as Colorado Companies to watch; industry awards such as the Air Forwarders Association award for excellence. Richard has given radio and print interviews on the future of logistics and has appeared on television business programs such as Bloomberg TV.
