Kristin Russell has what it takes to be a success, and she has the numbers to prove it. 

 

A straight shooter with Arrow Electronics since 2016, Russell consistently demonstrates the ability to utilize both technical and business acumen to innovate and implement new strategies to drive growth.  A prosperous C-level executive with a performance history of transforming technology organizations and building high performance teams, Russell is always on target with sustainable results. In order to be a strong force, Russell says that it takes hard work and flexibility.

It is because of her positive attitude, leadership skills, intelligence and fortitude that Russell is at the top of her game.

 

During Russell’s early days with Arrow, she was first tasked with taking over a business within the company’s portfolio that was struggling with growth. Trusting her track record of transforming technology organizations, she proved her reputation to be accurate.  Arrow Electronics had found themselves a rising star. 

 

Through her work to reinvigorate the business, Russell brought in a new leadership team, restructured the team to have a global orientation, and focused the team on fueling the pipeline with net new customer acquisitions. In 2017, she was promoted to lead Arrow Global Services and went on to grow the services portion of Arrow’s business, while also improving profitability in a single year by over 21%. 

 

Within her tenure at Arrow, Russell was promoted to lead a multi-billion dollar global services organization that provides full technology lifecycle services to Arrow’s customers. She was identified to lead the transformative, strategic growth area for the company.  She has been responsible for the entire P&L, including sales, marketing and operations.  Kristin has improved operating income, grown services-based revenue and gross profitability. 

 

Outside of Arrow, Russell has helped entrepreneurial companies within Colorado as an Advisor through the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network (BEN). Additionally, Russell has been a recipient of a multitude of awards and honors with her most recent recognitions including:  Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network Advisor & Entrepreneur (2017-present);  Top Embedded Innovator by Embedded Computing Design (2017); Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award by Colorado Technology Association (2018) and Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women Forum (2018-present).

 

Today, Russell continues to be a strong communicator, teacher and leader.  By sharing information and knowledge with others, Russell is able to gain commitment from diverse constituents and bring leading edge programs into existence.
