Pan-Oceanic Engineering Co., Inc. was initially run from his home and from his bag, and his car was his field office. “For the first year, he ran the office with no help and managed field operations with his brother and two employees in the field, one truck and trailer, a skid steer loader and a roller,” said his staff. “He successfully finished that first year which gave him the encouragement he needed to keep going.”
Now, as the president and CEO, Singh has top clients including the Chicago Department of Transportation, the Chicago Park District, the Illinois Department of Transportation and other municipalities and private clients.
Pan-Oceanic Engineering Co., Inc. is a general contractor with combined knowledge of over 100 years in highway/heavy, civil construction work. Singh said that he has remained steadfast in his belief in the power of teamwork. “Embodying a philosophy that a cohesive and skilled team is the cornerstone of any successful endeavor, I believe that one’s own capabilities are intrinsically linked to the strength of the team,” he said. “I strive to cultivate a robust and dynamic workforce.”
