Carmen Fronczak

Chief Revenue Officer
Friendship Village Senior Services

Location: St. Louis, MO
Founded: 1978
Industry: Senior Living/Home Health Care/HealthCare

For Carmen Fronczak, success is measured by the success of the team. “My expectations of myself and my team mirror one another,” she said. “I believe as a leader you have the duty to help those around you to grow and succeed personally and professionally.”

Fronczak serves as the chief revenue officer of Friendship Village Senior Services, a provider of premier senior living communities in St. Louis with world-class senior living for approximately 1,400 residents in independent living, assisted living and memory care and skilled nursing and rehabilitation.

She said her goal in this role is for seniors to experience the best chapter in their lives. “I want to help create a wellness community that offers individualized wellness programs that improve their lives, as well as a community where anything is possible and the answer is always yes,” said Fronczak.

The way to remain influential as a leader and in her industry is to stay relevant and continue learning. “I plan to continue to push as hard as I can to best serve the senior population,” she said.

Fronczak is responsible for revenue for all levels of care at both Friendship Village locations. Additionally, she oversees all efforts and serves as the executive director for the Chesterfield campus. According to her staff, when she stepped into the executive director role, a $200+ million expansion was in full swing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Carmen didn’t miss a beat, spending countless hours making herself known to the employees and residents, putting her own personal spin on the visual and operational aspects of being the executive director and gaining the trust of everyone around her,” they said.

What makes Fronczak a Titan is her lifelong commitment to healthcare and helping people, said her staff. “Our senior living residents are very intelligent and very organized, so having Carmen, who is willing and able to be responsive to the needs of the community requires a lot of grace, patience and an intimate knowledge of the history and intricacies of the community,” said her staff. “Carmen has all that and so much more.”

In recent years, Friendship Villages have been named to local, regional and national best lists in every category of senior living. Fronczak has been an integral part of the organization, following a mantra that you should “follow your true North.”

“You have to keep stepping toward what is important to you,” she said. For her forward-moving leadership style, Fronczak has been named a Titan.
