Ron Quinn

Ron Quinn began his banking career in 1981, working his way up the banking ladder for the next 24 years. He saw the need for a small community bank and Peach State Bank was formed where Quinn currently serves as the President and CEO.

Peach State Bank & Trust has a mission to be the premier financial services provider in the communities it serves and to demonstrate integrity, honesty and professional care throughout the company and the community.

Peach State Bank & Trust started with fewer than 10 employees when the doors opened in 2005, but it now has more than 65 employees under Quinn’s leadership. The bank is among the fastest-growing banks in Georgia with 49 percent growth last year in deposits and a 8 percent increase in loans versus an average 4 to 6 percent growth rate for other banks across the state.

“What sets Mr. Quinn apart would be his heart for the community and his goal to do what is best to improve not just the area, but the lives of his employees,” said his staff.

According to Quinn, a good leader must have empathy, build trust with their teams, and recognize that vulnerability is a strength. “This means listening closely to team member’s ideas, concerns, and needs and ensuring they always have a voice and are being heard,” he said. “Being a good leader also means being involved with everyday initiatives and meetings and not simply sitting behind the scenes.”

Throughout the COVID pandemic, Quinn took extreme measures to not only keep the bank open but to keep his employees safe by installing plexiglass, providing masks and coming up with a plan to rotate and allow some employees to work from home while others would come in. As a result, the bank never closed its doors and helped save over 4,200 local jobs with over $34 million in the PayCheck Protection Loan Program.

“Ron lives out the definition of a Titan on a daily basis by his dedication, commitment and service to his community through community banking at its best,” said his colleagues. “Whether it is one of many bank sponsored community events throughout the year or being there in a time of need for a customer, Ron and his team of community bankers live out the mission and values of a true community bank.”

For his commitment to the community, the banking industry and his team, Quinn has been named a Titan.
