Aaron Bare has studied and learned numerous leadership lessons in his career. The founder of One Million Exponential Leaders has refined those lessons into what he calls “seven universal truths” that guide him personally and professionally.

The truths:
1. We are always right. To think is to create. Your perception is your reality.
2. We are our habits. How we spend our days is how we spend our lives. Focusing on personal habits and putting in the work will help us reach our goals.
3. Attitude is everything. It’s not what happens to us, it’s how we respond.
4. What we resist persists. Let it go! Forgive.
5. The goal is not the end. The journey is the reward. Enjoy the process.
6. Enjoy the moment. Now is all we’ve got. Be present.
7. We are all one. Love unconditionally.

Bare’s company One Million Exponential Leaders is a growth strategy and innovation consulting firm, working to make the world think bigger. It helps companies solve complex problems and increase return on innovation. One Million Exponential Leaders works with companies across industries, with more than 500 clients and counting.

“I will be using my company, One Million Exponential Leaders, to fulfill the purpose we named the company after — to create one million exponential leaders,” Bare said. “Empowering other leaders to think bigger about themselves, their communities, their work, and their companies will create a cascading effect of change that will benefit all of us. With one million big thinkers, there will be no problem on this planet too big to solve.”

Bare started his career at Accenture, then launched a digital strategy firm, Buzz Mouth, that he later sold. Bare has built and sold 12 companies in total and founded three nonprofits.

He has traveled the world helping companies solve problems through innovations, working with the likes of Daimler, Coca-Cola, Belfius Bank and the Phoenix Suns.

Bare’s business successes include building the largest sales association in the world, the No. 1 food app in the Apple Store that held the top spot for 20 weeks, an online community that reached 9 million visitors per week, a Bitcoin-powered auction site, a cybersecurity company that grew to 60,000 clients and one of the first crowdfunding platforms in 2013.

He holds a 3D printing patent with his daughter and executive produced an award-winning documentary called “The University.”
